Weight Loss Injections Enquiries

We are experiencing a significant amount of "weight loss injection" enquiries and therefore we would like to explain our position on prescribing these drugs (GLP-1s - particularly Mounjaro) purely for weight loss purposes.

NHS GPs and Nurses cannot prescribe these drugs (at present) or endorse you buying these drugs privately. Neither can we support you in the dosing and/or management of privately prescribed drugs.

Please note that we cannot book patients in for Mounjaro injections - or to discuss these injections - UNLESS you are a diabetic.

We would kindly ask that patients refrain from contacting the practice with requests for this weight loss treatment.

Thank-you.

  • Car Parking Parking at all of our sites is extremely limited and is fast becoming a safety concern. With a view to allowing as much access as possible for disabled patients or patients less able to walk, please consider parking nearby if you are able and walk to the surgery. Particularly at the Hemsworth site, there is plenty of free parking nearby near Iceland, B&M and Tesco’s for example. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
