In line with latest guidance and in order to protect our patients and staff we are limiting access to the surgery. We are asking for our patients’ understanding and support with this.
This means we are asking all patients Not to attend the surgery without prior agreement from a member of our clinical team.
Patients without an appointment will not be given access to the building and will be asked to leave and contact us by ‘phone.
All patients are required to contact the practice by telephone to request an appointment providing details of their need. The receptionist will ask a short series of questions and then arrange a telephone consultation with a Clinician where appropriate.
A member of the clinical team will then phone you back to discuss your need and wherever possible this will be met over the telephone. Clinicians have the option to see the patient face to face once they have been assessed.
If a face to face appointment is arranged by the clinician, on arrival at the surgery your temperature will be taken for further clinical assessment. If your temperature is 37.8 or above, you will be asked to leave the building and further advice given on actions you should take.
IMPORTANT - Only the patient with the appointment will be allowed into the building.
For children, only one parent/guardian will be allowed to accompany the child.
You will not be able to collect your prescription from the surgery. We will electronically send the prescription to your nominated pharmacy. If you don’t have a nominated pharmacy, please RING the surgery and advise us where you want the prescription sending.
To order a repeat prescription, please either:
- Request order this online. If you are not registered for online services please ring the surgery to register for online services.
- Email the request to: email@example.com
If you are unable to order your prescription through these methods please contact us by ‘phone but please be aware this is not the preferred method and may cause delays to your request.
Our priority is the health and safety of all our patients and staff.
As this situation evolves, further guidance will be added to our website
